A Wetherspoon hotel with a comfortable lounge bar separated into multiple sections including a raised area opposite the bar and several alcoves in the extensive rear part. Styled with wood-veneer panelling, art-deco chandeliers, an open fireplace and a black iron sculpture by a local artist called 'The Grim Reaper'. Many prints and an engraved stone panel give historic information about Corstorphine, Edinburgh and Scotland. The rear section has a notable peaked skylight. Busy in the evenings, especially at weekends. Breakfasts served 7am-noon, main meals 11:30am-11pm.
