Originally named "The Tanner Arms", Courage sold the pub in 1984 and it became a free house. It's a traditional backstreet pub and its latest incarnation is an outlet for Namaste Kitchen who specialize in Nepalese food. The old part of the interior acts as the traditional pub, with the extension of the bar being the Nepalese restaurant. No real ale but some bottled beer available.
