Very smart village inn, actually fairly new as it was rebuilt only about fifteen years ago; the original pub had been bought by Morrells in 1838. It has a smart bar, with a flagged floor, comfy sofas and a wood burning stove, and a restaurant area, including a private dining room. There are eight well-appointed letting bedrooms. Also now incorporates the village shop.
