This Pub is Closed Long Term
White painted pub and restaurant that dates back to 1674 but the fireplace in the annex to the main bar is much older having allegedly been rescued from Fotheringhay Castle. Home cooked food, including Sunday lunches. Boats can be temporarily moored up on the River Nene and there is a path to the pub. The Nene Way footpath runs past the pub and ramblers and dogs are welcome. There is also a caravan site close by and caravanners regularly eat here. Reopened in spring 2014 after a refurbishment t included new toilets, kitchen, flooring and panelling.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
