This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

Open to card carrying CAMRA members on a guest member basis. Go to the door, press the button, show your card and CAMRA members will be let in. £1 Daily fee required.

The Conservative Club is a large rambling old Victorian building with many rooms, close to the town centre. All the club's facilities are available to CAMRA members for a small fee, including three snooker tables and a bowls green (open May-August. booking required). The club has a large well stocked bar with one real ales usually available on hand pump.
