Originally recorded in 1851 as the Station Inn in connection with the opening of the Three Bridges to Horsham railway, it became the Station Hotel 1890. However it looks to have originally been a coaching inn.
For a while in the 1990s it became the Rocket then the Firecracker and
Firkin before becoming The Railway.
