Fine traditional pub located just off the main road and close to Eastwood Town FC ground. Whilst open plan, with a central bar, it is effectively divided up into a number of spacious rooms. Large garden at rear.
Historic Interest
In DH Lawrence's book 'Sons & Lovers' the pub is called the 'Moon & Stars'. Asset of Community Value registered 6 January 2023 (for five years) and nominated by the Nottingham Branch of CAMRA. In 1855, the Three Tuns was a fully licensed establishment under victualler J. Meakin (Post Office Directory). As at November 2017, the Three Tuns freehold (NT342644) was owned by Punch Partnerships (PTL) Limited [Reg. No. 3512363] and was transferred to Star (Heineken) on the 5th March 2018.
