Popular hostelry built in 1835 as the tap for the old Vale of Neath Brewery. The locals' bar and lounge have a central servery offering a choice of real ales. The pub has a reputation for freshly cooked food, with fresh fish, home-made pies and a range of specials served in the bar, and an a la carte menu available in the restaurant in the old stables. There is a large car park opposite the pub.
