Situated in the middle of the High Street, this is the oldest pub in Honiton dating back to 1774. It was a stopping off point for stagecoaches on the way to and from Exeter. The pub underwent an extensive refurbishment around 2013. Good-value home-cooked food is served lunchtimes and three real ales (two regular and one guest) are usually available. Families are welcome, and well-behaved dogs are allowed.
