A characterful 16th-century coaching inn, acquired by St Austell Brewery in 2011. The bar area has a log fire and large bay window. There is a smaller area off the bar that is generally used by those eating and a seperate restaurant. To the rear is a courtyard, with seating, large umbrellas and space heaters for the cooler months. All ales are from the St Austell range: 4 are on hand pump, the two regular beers and the two guest beers, one of which may be from the "Small Batch or Cask Club range" A selection of Real Ale in Bottles is kept in the fridge. The hotel offer 19 en-suite rooms and the food served is very popular. Opens at 8am for breakfast.
