Spacious, traditional Free House catering for locals and visitors alike. The pub has two bars and a large skittle alley, which doubles as a Blues venue once a month, and offers a number of games including quoits; a boules pitch is located in the front garden. Conservatory at the front for dining, cozy snug tucked into the corner. A small garden is at the rear with sound structure for smokers, from which you can hear passing steam trains on the Dean Forest Railway. An ever changing range of ciders is offered. CAMRA's National Cider & Perry Pub for 2005. Please note range may be reduced in Winter. Level access front and rear, and a ramp between bars giving access to adapted toilet.
