An attractive single room micropub, it features two open fireplaces and a large covered outdoor seating area, heated in the Winter, which utilises the original off-sales hatch for serving that area. It offers four real ales plus lagers and ciders. There is a piano in the bar and live music is a regular feature. One of the more unusual features in the bar is the large Gnu head above the fireplace, which gives its name to the occasional house beer.
