New licensee hoping to put real ale back on again.
Enter at the front with a step down into the bar areas. This pub dates from around 1553 with wooden beams in abundance and a large inglenook fireplace. To the rear the toilets have been refitted and continue outside up a few steps. There is a large, illuminated garden to the rear that has picnic tables and an ornamental Koi carp pond. This area may be extended in time. A shed will be used as a garden bar.
