This is a private non-affiliated Club, and is open to members and non-members. Members however receive a discount on drinks. The ground floor consists of a large lounge bar, an enormous concert room and a games room with a pool table and a darts board. On the first floor are a function room and a meeting room. Out the back are a partially covered heated patio and lawn both with picnic tables.
Historic Interest
The Club with its striking frontage was erected in 1936 occupying part of a large plot of land made available in 1910 following the sale and demolition of Lawn House which, for many years, was home to the Paget family. Further development of the site saw a new Earl of Stamford Pub, a row of shops, a garage and The Lawn Cinema (since demolished 1970).
