An impressive ironstone construction built in 1700 and, as its name would suggest, this is a former traditional coaching inn. Consisting of a public bar with a skittles table and darts board, a lounge bar with a cosy snug annex and, off of the lounge, a large dining room. At the back is a partially covered paved patio furnished with garden tables and chairs and further back across the car park is a childrens play area with a small slide and climbing frame.
