The interior is entirely modernised. On the right is a comfortable lounge area with armchairs and settees. At the rear is a more formal restaurant. A very attractive side patio and a large garden at the back. Musak; occasional live music and theatre in the garden. Beware the mark-up on half pints.
Historic Interest
Built as the 'Greyhound' in 1936, replacing a 300-year old inn. Good Georgian-style exterior, unfortunately now brick-painted. This was formerly in Grand Metropolitan (Watney-Mann) ownership.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
