An interwar roadhouse (a rebuild of a much older pub) in an isolated spot at Lewin Bridge on the old Fosse Way, where it crosses the River Wreake. Refurbished in traditional style and partially opened-out in 2003. The small front bar and the side lobby are knocked together; separate small bar rear-right and narrow dining room rear-left. At the rear, a patio and extensive riverside gardens with play area and petanque court. Popular with families and diners. Large car park. Buses only pass the pub once a day. The nearest regular bus routes are in Syston town centre.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
