Built in the 1770s this is now the only pub in the village since the older Black Horse (c1550) was converted to a private dwelling in the mid 1990s. Consisting of one elongated L-shaped room with the bar situated in the short span and a dining area sited in the longer span. Smooth floated plaster walls painted in a light colour create a bright almost modern feel but the prevailing oldie worldie ambiance is maintained by woodworm ravished exposed ceiling beams & joist, quarry tiled floors, log burning stove and folding internal window shutters. Adjacent to the rear car-park is a block paved patio area furnished with picnic tables.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
