17th Century Grade II listed free house overlooking the biggest village green in the country (40 acres). The interior is split into four distinct areas with some quarry tiled floors. A large baronial style hall function room on the left of the building is used as a carvery on Sunday lunchtimes. Re-opened November 2021 under the management of Woodforde's Brewery.
