Historic Interest
Three Gables was built for Mowbrays Brewery in 1937. Mowbrays were taken over by JW Green in 1952, and then Flowers/Whitbread, and ceased brewing in mid 1950's. The brewery was used as depot until final closure in 1967. The stained glass initials MB above the front door is a reference to Mowbrays Brewery.
