Originally a Wetherspoon pub, now owned by local pub co Black Star Pubs. It continues to offer cask ales at very reasonable prices, and a menu of good value pub fare. Note that breakfast is served from 8.30 to 11.30, with the main menu being available from noon to 8pm. A house beer named Cats Eyes Amber at 3.4% is available, believed to be sourced from Recoil Brewery.
It is named after the inventor of Cat's Eyes in the 1930s. The pub is situated on the Broad Street Plaza which includes a multiplex cinema. There are two distinct areas separated by an open partition. The interior is modern with exposed ceiling pipes and a décor in the style of an American diner. Piped music is now played.
Whilst the pub is still awaiting a full survey, food service times are updated as of 20th February 2024.
This Pub serves 3 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
