This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.
Accessible down steps between 11 and 12 Church St and and also from a car park at the top end of the Church St, this is very much a sports focussed venue - football, darts, greyhound racing, snooker and pool, either on the sports screen or in the club room. The club has a reputation for being friendly with a great atmosphere.
There are ten snooker tables, four pool tables and a dartboard. There's also a separate area for conversation.
The building is one of the last surviving small carpet works buildings on the banks of the Stour in central Kidderminster.
Basket meals with chips are always available along with Hobson's Twisted Spire on hand pump. Cash only bar.
Access to the club is up a staircase, no adapted facilities for disability.

Judging for the competition takes around a year, starting with individual nominations from CAMRA members and tasting panel nominations, leading to a series of rigorous regional heats adhering to a strict blind tasting policy.
