An old village pub that has had a number of extensions over the years and is now very much food led with a carvery available seven days a week. The original core has low ceilings and exposed brickwork, furnishing is traditional pub settles and Britannia tables in an area at the front of the building; this area provides space for casual drinkers and locals with some notices for the local Darts and Dominos league. There is what may have been a second original room just off this which is laid out for dining. The bar counter is of brick and behind that is a modern extension providing more dining space and a carvery. A further dining area is provided to the left of the bar and in front of that is a more formal dining room. Décor is much as you would expect in a country pub, tasteful old watercolours, coaching prints, copper pans and novelty teapots.
