A free house since 1978 when it was bought from M&B by the licensee's father, this large, food orientated, multi roomed village pub is popular with diners and serves two real ales.
Bar area refurnished July 2020
Large car park. Tables outside to front and side of pub.
Level access from front door (1 small step at back), level inside, disabled toilet available.
The village is of note as the birthplace of William Worthington the brewer and the pub has a blue commemorative plaque on the front wall.
