Located among white painted cottages that surround the village green of this pretty village, this one time village hall dates from 1780. In the bar, two regular beers are supplemented by a guest, also from the Marston`s range, while in the restaurant, good-value meals includes early-bird mid-week specials (no food Sun eve). South-facing patio areas make outdoor summer drinking a pleasure. Quiz night is Wednesday. An ideal base for local country walks.
