The pub building was originally the first and largest of a row of cottages and has been beautifully restored, retaining all of its 300-year-old charm and atmosphere, with the bar featuring flagstone flooring and open fires. The spacious restaurant offers a seasonal menu using fresh ingredients sourced from over 10 acres of on-site vegetable gardens and orchards. Outside there is extensive seating with views over the Beamish Valley. Closed Monday & Tuesday in Winter.
