A traditional Forest pub built in the 1700s and extended in subsequent centuries. The façade comprises the original four bays and a Victorian cross-wing at either end; sash-windowed, dormered and part tile-hung. Accommodation is provided in 14 rooms. The small bar is divided into 2 areas with comfortable leather armchairs and copper topped tables. Adjacent to this is a large restaurant area with all tables laid up for diners.
