The pub is a listed timber framed building with thatched roof. Inside are wooden beams with ancient brick walls and a pair of (unused) brick fireplaces, mixed with contemporary décor. Outside is a patio/garden with additional seating and a well with a thatched roof. Adjacent to the pub is a Harvester restaurant and Travelodge. Food is served in both the restaurant and pub. Itchen Navigation Canal towpath is a 100 yards from the pub.
