Sixteenth-century inn on the main road, overlooking the River Torridge and the old Long Bridge. A convivial, low-beamed bar, with a raised sports bar area at one end. Now a "Craft Union" pub, it is predominantly wet sales led, with very competitively priced ales. Visitors will find a selection of up to three real ales, mainly national favourites with the odd local beer. Old photographs of the waterfront decorate the walls and the Lundy Island ferry departs from the nearby quay.
