The Barking Buck (formerly the Norfolk Lurcher) is housed in a converted fruit barn, eight miles from Norwich. New owners in late 2023 retained the traditional pub feel, but introduced a small plates and large plates menu. The food has an Asian fusion twist and is prepared fresh on the premises.
The pub serves local ales, and has a large comfortable bar area and restaurant area, which are (April 2024) having a makeover to enhance the current traditional pub look. The extensive lawned beer garden with seats, for drinking and eating will be ready in Spring/Summer 2024.

There's an extensive lawned beer garden with seating for eating and drinking, and a well-appointed seating area to the front now facilitates a drinking area with impressive umbrellas, giving a continental style to this rural pub/restaurant.
A designated rum bar is in the pipeline (as at summer 2024) that will give a nod to the Caribbean island of Grand Cayman.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
