A 16C inn situated very close to the sea in attractive coastal North Norfolk village. This rural retreat was a favourite with author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in the late 19tC. The pub usually offers a range of about six real ales, mostly from local brewers. Hot meals are available lunchtimes and evenings. The pub hosts a mid-summer beer festival each June that attracts visitors from far outside the local area and has over 100 real ales available.
