Station bar opened 2021 on Platform 2 (York-bound) of Knaresborough's Grade II listed railway station. Operated by the owners of Gorilla Brewing in South Yorkshire, this is an award-winning renovation by them of an old railway building, comprising two rooms, a large room and a snug. At the back of the larger room a bar constructed of old railway sleepers with a length of railway track at its foot, has four handpulls at the front, showcasing beers from Gorilla, often including a dark, and occasionally a guest ale. There are six keg lines, some of which sometimes dispense KeyKeg beers. Prices for pints and halves are displayed on a board on the wall to the left-hand side of the bar. A 10% discount is offered to Railcard holders and train staff.
