This lively and friendly local, once part of the Bass pub estate but now a privately-owned free-house, is thought to date back to the 19th-century.

The public bar is located at the front of the pub (note collection of old cameras on high shelf), with linked lounge and games room towards rear on opposite sides, forming a U-shape. Enclosed garden with picnic tables to rear, with patio and grassed area (incorporating children's play area).

Occasional live music.

Small car park on west side, plus limited off road car parking at front and across road at bus terminus.
