Built circa 1730, this family run pub pre-dates the adjacent Grand Union Canal. Dining areas are at both ends of the building, with several settees in front of the L-shaped bar. There is lots of outside seating next to the lock and on the lawn beside the canal. The menu offers a choice of traditional home-cooked food using locally sourced ingredients, mixed with a few more exotic options. Quiz on Thursday evenings. Braunston Marina is nearby.
