A typical example of the eponymous chain, albeit under the arches beneath the Charing Cross Hotel and Station and with a more snug and comfortable feeling than most, especially on the mezzanine cleverly tucked in under the girders supporting the buildings above. There is a stripped pine block floor, plenty of stainless steel and some comfortable upholstered seating. Beyond the wines, cocktails and softails, an extensive choice of keg draught beers, including two from Meantime, and a range of interesting bottled beers are available. Note that alcohol may not be served before 10am Monday to Sunday.
