Parts of this old inn date back to 1610 and it was once owned by an ancestor of Abraham Lincoln. The present owners are long-standing CAMRA members. Inside, the pub has a large spacious main bar with real fire, a dining room serving food lunchtimes and evenings (not Sun eve or Mon), and a small games room with pool and darts.
Up to five beers are available, two permanent and three changing. The extensive garden includes a bowling green. The pub now hosts a beer festival each year over the Easter Bank Holiday.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
