Situated in former retail and office premises, the pub can be found down the alleyway between the bookmakers and the Carlton cinema. This welcoming micropub is an oasis for the real ale drinker and offers a selection of between 6 and 8 real ales, sourced mainly from Kentish breweries but with other beers from all around the country. The beers are kept in a temperature controlled room and served straight from the cask with love by John the landlord and his small select team. With seating for around 18 people the well-considered layout makes the most of the small interior.
For the non real ale drinker there is a small selection of premium spirits and mixers.
