This multi-levelled pub, dates from 1871, four room pub has retained its quirky charm and layout. There are six real ales including 3 changing guests with a local focus. A popular live music venue with performances often on Thursday and Friday although other nights are available. The walls are always covered with pictures and other art for sale and there’s a special seat next to Maxine The Mannequin. Other events include monthly quiz or poetry evenings. There is a world music club once per month. Food not available at present but free chip butties are available after Swindon Town FC home games. Historic Interest
Built by the Belle Vue Brewery in 1871. Later the property of the Star Brewery it was bought by Morrell's in 1896.
