This pleasant village local is a friendly, confidently run old inn with exposed stonewalls, two bay window seats and a roaring woodburner. The jovial, amicable regulars are always chatty; enjoying the offerings from the attractive open bar, which features up to four different ales at busy times. The refurbished, comfortable dining area serves a competitively priced menu in collaboration with a local Indian restaurant. This pub can be quietly addictive and quite difficult to leave.
