Reputedly Broadland's oldest recorded pub, parts date from 1520. Adjacent to the River Waveney, it's named after the bell trawlers used to use to summon the monk ferryman before the bridge was built.
Offers four ales, gardens with their own moorings and a restaurant serving 'home style' food. Very popular with Broads cruisers.
May open earlier and later on Sunday in summer.

Judging for the competition takes around a year, starting with individual nominations from CAMRA members and tasting panel nominations, leading to a series of rigorous regional heats adhering to a strict blind tasting policy.
