Two roomed pub with traditional values. "No pool table, no juke box, no bandit" boasts the proud landlord. A pub on this site since 1800s, the bar has over 40 framed photographs of old Blaydon. Two folk nights weekly, buskers night, quiz night and live bands once a month. Barbecues held in superb rear beer garden during the summer months. Excellent views of River Tyne and Tyne valley. Dog friendly. Premises patronised by local blind club! Blaydon has recently benefited from a much improved rail service. There are now 10 trains per day in each direction which call at Blaydon Station.
