This 300-year-old pub was comprehensively refurbished and extended in 2011 and now doubles up as a Chinese restaurant and takeaway. Inside the front door is a "pubby" bar area with pool table. Further back is the large lounge-cum-restaurant, all stylishly kitted out if somewhat cavernous. As well as the huge set menu you can get a variety of bar snacks. Live music on selected weekend nights. Poker on Thursdays. Much of the time just one of the handpumps is in operation - selling the likes of Shepherd Neame Spitfire, St Austell Tribute, Elgoods Golden Newt and Milton beers. There are accessible toilets, but the sprung front door makes entry to the pub a challenge.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
