A converted office building and former brewpub found behind St. Stephens Church. The main bar has a roaring fire which adds to the friendly atmosphere among regulars. Conveniently located near the town centre, a good range of interesting beers is usually available along with cider and a wide selection of gins and rums. A second room can be used as a private function room and live music or in-house DJs is often provided at weekends. Shows Sky Sports. There is parking at the rear of the pub plus a pay and display car park in the nearby Quadrant opposite NEW College.
Although only bar snacks are available, takeaways can be eaten in the pub.
