Starting life as an off-licence, its previous incarnation as Unity Bottleshop & Tasting Rooms introduced a drinking area. Then became Good Libations. The off-licence side has been phased out and has been fully converted to a craft and real ale bar, so when you visit the décor may well have changed since the last time.
January 2024 saw it closed for a couple of weeks while it was re-branded as 'Bottle & Stoat', reopening on 24th January 2024.
The 2nd, Southampton based, business from the proprietors of Olaf's Tun (Woolston) follows very much in the same vein - 6 handpumps on the front bar, with 12 Keg Lines behind. A mixture of four seater tables, a 'snug' area and room length banquet seating along one wall provide ample seating, including a Chesterfield sofa and armchairs. The venue is bar service.
There are no kitchen facilities, though the usual bar snacks are available - however 'ordering in' is encouraged, with deals available courtesy of local eateries (Popsi's Pizza & 7 Bone Burger).
Closing times shown here are for last orders, the pub shuts its doors 30 minutes later.
This Pub serves 6 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
