Located near the city centre this is a large Wetherspoon pub with two floors. Upstairs is a dining room, while downstairs there are comfy booths and a mixture of tables. In a recent makeover the beer lines were changed, the bar was given a brighter look, and a beer garden opened at the rear of the building. The main bar features eight hand pumps dispensing a changing variety of real ale. This is a very busy pub with the ale and food in great demand. Twice a local CAMRA pub of the year. It opens from 8 am but alcohol is only available from 11.30 am (12.30 Sun).
