This former Hartleys pub was reopened by the current owners in 2014 after six years closure and a sensitive refurbishment. It has gone from strength to strength in that time and is a focal point of the village. They have an interesting menu (with regular steaks, plus dishes like duck curry and Brazilian fish stew making an occasional appearance), and also have a wide ranging pizza menu on Sundays.
