Large attractive pub in the centre of a pleasant village with flagstone floors throughout and a log fire both ends. Display cases containing artefacts and information about nearby Cadbury Castle, reputed to be King Arthur's Camelot from various excavations over the years.
Excellent food is served, all home cooked and the staff make for a very friendly visit.
Close to the A303 and well signposted it makes an ideal stop off for those travelling to or from the West Country. Dogs and children are welcome.
