This late Victorian 2-bar village local is a prominent position at the top of Wootton High Street. It’s a large pub, though, curiously, has one of the smallest front doors on the Island! There’s a children’s room and outside is a large garden with kids play area. Smokers are spoilt – the outdoor smoking area is adapted from a beautiful Victorian outbuilding. There’s an extensive menu, and the friendly bar staff ensure a good atmosphere. Food extended to 8pm in the summer. Close to steam railway.
