A 17th century inn with exposed beams and Cotswold stone walls. A real fire will warm you in winter, there is ample parking and the beer garden leads down to the River Stour. The pub reopened in May 2024 after refurbishment, the lease being taken on by Jack McEntee of Happy Wolf Pub Company. They have two other pubs: the Peacock at Oxhill; and the Yew Tree at Avon Dassett.
