The old Rising Sun has undergone several refurbishments in recent years. The latest is the most ambitious and has resulted in a much changed pub re-opened in February 2019 with a new name, 'The Claremont'.
The pub has a comfortable large bar along with a versatile area in the old skittle alley that can be used as a function room. Outside there is a small terrace area, and a 'fresh air dining room'. Food on offer includes Barrel and Stone pizzas.
